Hold on tight

I was walking to get some film developed when I heard a young girl screaming. The voice was coming from the opposite direction of where I was walking, but I decided to follow it since it was not only startling – it was constant.

I crossed over the pedestrian bridge and through a building to find this couple – the source of the screaming. The girl was inconsolable and the boy was asking for forgiveness for something... something worth holding on to?
